Well, with the Safe at Home initiatives it has been difficult to announce area concerts that area available to attend. I was just sent information on two concerts happening tomorrow, May 9, 2020 which everyone can enjoy via live stream!
Student recital will be live streamed on ETSU Pre-College's Facebook page 3:00 pm 5/9/2020:
Duo Amadeae is two sisters, Esther Park (Professor at ETSU) and Sun-A Park. Both pianists have performed worldwide. Their piano playing is exquisite, everyone should experience their performances! Here is a youtube link for a previous piece they performed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVpCD22zj00
Dr Potterton attempted to create a virtual Choir Video, it is on facebook and you can view it anytime here:

We are on week 15 (May 3-9) of our spring semester lessons. Week 16 is our last spring week together! Then week 17 - May 18-22 - is a make up week.
Online or In Person? The Future of lessons.
Now, with the lifting of the safe at home suggestions I am going to offer both online or in person lessons. I will continue to offer both through next fall. Your lesson time can either be an online or in person lesson, but I will need to know ahead of time.
I have everyone set up as the type of lesson they prefer, so if you have said you would like online we will continue. IF you decide you would like to do a live lesson that week simply contact me ahead of time (I would prefer a 24 hour notice so I can adjust my location!) Once I have my dedicated studio space I will not need as advanced notice. So, when you register for fall lessons we will do the same idea. You will not only register for the time/day of your lesson but also the type of lesson. Then you will have the option of switching when needed. This may be very helpful to some busy schedules.
The summer lesson schedule is out. You can purchase a specific number of lessons and then schedule them during the weeks I will be teaching. Payment is due by the first day of the lesson. I will continue to offer online as well as in person lessons all summer and you can choose which type of lessons you would prefer. The goal was to wait until the school systems could get a better picture of how fall was going to progress before coming out with a summer schedule, but I needed to get the summer dates out and now I plan to just be flexible. So, if you sign up for summer and the schools change we will adjust as needed.
Summer lessons are purchased in 30 minute lesson time slots, you can choose to have 1 lesson each week you choose, 2 lessons each week, or schedule 2 back to back slots for an hour total lesson time, etc. You are simply purchasing a specific number of lesson time slots and you can create a plan for your family.
The online portal will have open lesson spots soon set up. You can log into your account online and schedule the lessons yourself or contact me with the dates and time you would like and I will place your student in the open lesson slots. Open lesson slots fill on a first come basis. Open slots
Teaching days are Tuesday (9 am - 2pm), Wednesday (11 am - 4 pm), and Thursday (2 pm - 6 pm) each week.
Week 1 - June 23-25
Week 2 - June 30-July 1
